How anxiety affects and how to tackle it convincingly. (Part 1)

What is Anxiety??

First of all let me tell you that "Anxiety" is a feeling of worry or fear. For example, waiting for your turn for an interview we feel anxiety or the person who has stagefear feels anxious facing a humongous crowd or checking result online (the time it takes to load the result) makes us anxious. So what anxiety basically is, Is it a disorder? Is it natural?? Is it an illness?? or Is it myth??

Anxiety is natural thing until it affects your day-to-day activities. Who doesn't suffer anxiety, everyone does but it can become annoying if it affects us in our work. It sends us a red signal that something is not right with you or something will be coming to you but even when there is nothing worrying then why does anxiety occur? Similar question right.. for that we need to look at it's types.

TYPES OF ANXIETY (BRIEFLY EXPLAINED)

  1. GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder): If most of the days you feel anxious without nothing to worry                                                                    about then you got your type.
  2. Social Anxiety: Fear of being criticized or embarrased, being judged, etc.
  3. Panic Disorders/Attacks: These are triggered attacks which causes physical symptoms.
  4. OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder): person can overthink a small thought and tries to relieve it by his behaviour. E.g. person having OCD of cleanliness cleans the disordered room to relieve itself from anxiety.
  5. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder(PSTD): Caused by some tragic event in the past or present.

Today we're gonna talk about the "GAD".

SYMPTOMS(may or may not include)
1) Prevents focus or concentration from daily activities.
2) Sleeping Difficulty.
3) Heart Palpitations.
4) Fear of Death or injury.
5) Feels like difficulty in breathing.
6) Lonliness.
7) Overthinking every small things.
8) Sweating.
9) Digestive problems, headache.

It is also connected to panic disorders or panic attacks, these attacks are triggered by some specific things and can cause unwanted disturbance which can lastly lead to leave our work and then work on this panic attacks and believe me, person who has went through he/she only can know how hard is to get through it.

Now, you guys are thinking that yeah now we know we are having this, we don't want to know what is it, just tell  what to do? what are the solutions?

So, Here it is,

SOLUTIONS:

Symptoms reliever Reduce Anxiety
1) Walk or run or do some physical activities POSITIVITY is the key. Be positive and implement the positive lifestyle.
2) Listen to your favourite music or search "anxiety relieving music" on youtube. Medidate in the morning even for small duration if you are busy.
3) Write down the thoughts in the notebook or diary. Physical exercise is a good option to reduce.
4) Make trigger pts. i.e. take points that in which situation your anxiety is triggered and write it down so that you can avoid that thing later in the future. Healthy and proper diet can reduce anxiety if you make it as a part of your lifestyle.
5) Do some breathing exercise to calm down symptoms. Avoid Caffeine in your daily life replace it with fruit juices/drinks without caffeine.
6) Smells like lavander smell can relieve the symptoms. NO ALCOHOL AND SMOKING.
7) Feelings are not fact.

Self Care is the best gift you can give to yourself. Say "I am strong", "I can do it", "I will not give up", "I am positive", "I will not worry about the things I can't control".

CONCLUSION:

Don't worry just think that:

  1. You are strong and kind.
  2. You are not alone.
  3. I can do it and I will do it.

And the last note to the people, these people are already trying hard on their own so if you can't be kind to them, then never be rude to them.
