Types of Sleep Apnea
There a mainly three types of sleep apnea

The most common one is obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) it affects 2-4% of the American population. This type of apnea causes difficulty in breathing since when you sleep normally the tracheal muscles relax and the trachea narrows. This thus causes difficulties in ineffective breathing, due to narrow air pathways.
